*screams and rips out hair* My gawd! I cannot handle my mother!!! *growls* She is completely impossible! I swear I need to just shoot something -- an undead monkey would be acceptable! (a touch of humour helps me come down)

Alright, I just had a huge fight with my mom. She is completely...I can't even think of a word that's how upset I am. Seriously i'm on the verge of tears. We fought about so many things and when I brought up acting she flip flopped like usual and told me that it was an impossible dream and that there was no money in it and that I would throw my life away. I flipped and screamed at her and said that I wouldn't sit on my ass like her if I fell down; I'd get right back up and solve my own problems; not like her who failed and admitted defeat.

I need a hug and so bad. I was so happy that I could accomplish my dream with my family backing me up and such but now everything just seems impossible. But no matter what...I will still try. Nothing will stop me. I will not go down with this ship. I will fight for what I want no matter how long or how arduous the journey is.

Hey everyone. Two things to talk about

Highschool

Alright, well, today was my very first day of highschool and I must say...it was quite hectic The morning I was practically clinging to my grade twelve sister's side but she kinda ditched me for her friends so i was left roaming the halls all by my lonesome -- which wasn't quite lonesome considering there were tons and tons of people. Luckily, though, I met up with my one friend and we headed to first period since we were both in it. That wasn't too bad..didnt like the teacher too much but awh well.

So then second period roles around, I'm seeing people that I know in the halls but in the mean time, I'm struggling to find my locker. Damn the school is so confusing xD Anyways, so the warning bell goes and I finally reach my locker and I'm dying to find my Science class. I look at the number of the room on my hand and it says 130, right, so I keep pacing back and forth trying to find room 130 but there's only 132 and 135 and so on. I whip out my actual schedule to see that the room actually is 132 so I burst in and everyone stares at me. I was glad it was actually my class though lol Basically the number was wrong because of my sister's stupid-ass boyfriend who was reading the rooms off to me the night before and gave me the wrong number *twitch, twitch*

So anyways, third period comes, got lost again trying to find my locker and then the room but not as bad as second. Then lunch arrives. THAT was extremely stressful. You see, I have a problem with eating in places I'm not familiar with..I don't know its just the way I am *shrugs* So basically the place is packed and me and my friends are just standing around this one table that we knew some people at. THEN the motherload. My ex-crush comes waltzing up to my and my friend. At this point I'm like "*sigh* Here we go" so he's standing talking with us (tall as ever I must say lol) and we're just mingling bla bla bla and I get all annoyed cause..well I uno I was just annoyed cause I can't have him Then his friend comes up with a couple of his other friends and we're all just talking. Well, actually they were just talking but it was ok. Then we left the caf and I uno just went roaming a bit.. me leaving my poor ex-crush behind to play foosball with his buds lmao.

Then fifth comes and I make my way down to the drama room and wait for class to get out to go in. Then I go in bla bla bla and I find out that my ex-crush's crush is in my class *twitch, twitch* Now, she's kinda nice but pretty fake at the same time so I'm all like *fake smiles* and crap but i can tell she don't care for me too much so I don't care for her either.

The heartbreak, though, was that when school let out, we were coming out of the drama room and I see my crush come through the crowd to meet up with his crush. I watched him put his arm around her and she laughed and they disappeared into the mob It made me kind of upset but its kind of good because its telling me I need to move on

Acting

On a little note, yesterday I came upstairs from the basement to see my mom, my sister and my sis's bf talking at the table. I joined up beside the table and my mom stared at me weird. I looked at her and said "Hi...?" In a funny kind of sarcastic voice, I guess, and all of a sudden, 'bf' - as we'll nickname him - starts howling. I'm like what the hell's the matter with you? And he's all like Oh man...I can see you as an actress. I'm like uhh thanks..? The rest of the night I made other little comments, too and he kept saying this. Couldn't tell if it was flattery or if he was serious *shrugs* But that's not even the great part...

Basically they were talking about my sister's future and what she wants to pursue in the career field but she doesn't have a clue anyways. So then my mom asks me "What do you want to do?" And I answered, "I want to become an actress" She gave me one of her 'here we go...' looks, and I started going on about how it was something I really wanted to do and become successful at. Expecting an angry 'mother-knows-best' retort, I was rewarded with something so uncharacteristic of her. Her face softened and she said,
"You know, maybe I'm just being ignorant. I think i should seriously look into that for you." Well my jaw just dropped. I'm like, "wait..what?" and she went on saying about how my grandpa said something to her about it but she switched over to saying how she hears a lot that there are many starving actors out there. But, I went and asked her what my grandpa said and she answered, "Well, because you came up in a conversation one day and we were talking about what you wanted to do. I told your grandfather that you weren't sure but that you were interested in acting and he answered that you would do very well as one" It made me smile, too. So we talked a bit more and she insisted that we research it more and find out everything about acting and such. I was pretty thrilled! Things are looking good everyone...who knows? My dream may actually come true!!!

I'm finally in a mood where I can spill my heart out onto a journal entry.

Have you ever had a dream? No, I don't mean when you sleep and your imagination runs wild, I mean something that you hope for? Many dreams start off when we're children; dancing around and imagining a life to hope for. When your young, everything seems possible; like you can accomplish anything at the drop of a dime. Though, we weren't wise enough to know that all goals have steps to take to get there.

So, as we grow older, our dreams seem to become unattainable. We begin to learn that it takes hard work and sometimes a touch of luck. Some of us just plain grow out of dreams, too. But there are some...some who never let go of the dream. Depending on our different dreams, many achieve and many fail. There are also the ones who look back at their dream and can't help but feel empty and who utter the words, 'Imagine what life would be like if I followed my dreams...'

Well, I don't want that to happen to me. Like everyone, I have a dream. My own dream is of becoming a successful actress and I intend to follow through. I don't want to just watch as my dream floats by and becomes unreachable. I want to try. Try my hardest, extend my limits. Prove to everyone and more importantly myself that I'll make my dreams a reality.

This is my important message to everyone: If you have a dream thats precious and important to you, don't let it pass you by. You can do anything if you set your mind to it.

Let's show the world what we're capable of. One day, I want to look back and say,
"Imagine what life would be like if I had let my dreams pass by..."
